  1. Electronic Notification for Vendor Bid System (VBS) Advertisements In order to receive notification of procurement opportunities advertised by agencies, it is strongly recommended that all vendors take time to sign up for electronic notification of Vendor Bid System (VBS) advertised procurements. Although email notifications are not guaranteed, this tool should prove valuable to all vendors. Notifications are transmitted based on the DMS class and group codes agencies select to advertise under as they correlate with the DMS class and group codes selected by vendors during the registration process. Be sure to check the Vendor Bid System regularly for any advertisements of interest to you and update your registration with any additional class and group codes that appropriately describe the goods and services you provide.
