  2. My Favorite Poem • My favorite poem is a poem called, “Bandy.” I liked the poem because I thought it was sweet how the girl adopted the dog and they became friends.

  3. Interesting Words and Phrases • There are no standards, no perfect person. There is only the way God molded us.

  4. Why the author wrote it… • I think the author wrote it to entertain people and help them appreciate dogs as much as he did.

  5. Five interesting poems“Madelin” Madelin is about a dog that is not perfect, but is okay with that because that was how God molded him.

  6. “Bandy” • Bandy is about a dog who did not have all the things that she wanted, but was okay with that and happy no matter what!

  7. “Ace” • Ace is about a dog who can always be eating a shirt or two. He always finds mischief!

  8. “Sadie” • Sadie is about dog who should have died two years ago, but is still on her four legs. She does not give up!

  9. “Stink” • Stink is a stinky dog who likes to takes baths all the time and his owner has no idea why!

  10. My thoughts on poetry… • I think poems are easy to understand because they are descriptive, use the senses, and are often written is short stanzas.
