Blue Hors Leredo Danish, Dark Bay, Born 2001 16.3 hands Celebrated Champion Stallion of the 2004 and 2006 Danish approval in Herning. With three exceptional gaits and an absolutely perfect exterior, there was no doubt that this stallion would be the winner. He took his 30 day test in Vilhelmsborg and finished as the best stallion in dressage with the highest scores for trot and rideability. In 2005 he won three tests for young riding horses with scores between 9.0 and 9.4. His sire, the highly refined Landgraf I son, Leandro, has made a name for himself in Denmark and Germany as a first class dressage and jumper maker and has produced several sons that were licensed, including the international competition stallion, Levisto (3rd place in the FN's estimated breeding value statistics). The granddam has also proved herself in breeding, not just by her son, Leandro, but also by the 1994 Danish Champion Mare, La Fantastique. Her sire, Triumph (by Tiro/SF) was an Oldenburg Champion Stallion of his day who went to Denmark as a breeding stallion but was unfortunately killed in an accident just after his first breeding season. The few off-spring that he left behind were of outstanding quality and some of them later won ribbons at the international level. Leredo's very first foal crop produced the best filly in Denmark and the Champion Foal at the 2005 Blue Hors Foal Championships. Leredo is a homozygote and his foals inherit only brown colors! Licensed for: Oldenburg und Denmark.
