Heart Health Initiative: Combatting Coronary Heart Disease in the UK

This presentation in October 2012 outlines how CHD is the UK's biggest killer, affecting millions annually. It stresses the benefits of physical activity in reducing heart attack risks. The Cardiac Club aims to address barriers to exercise, with positive results seen among members. The annual questionnaire highlights significant improvements in physical health and mood through regular exercise. Addressing postcode disparities, exercise sessions are offered at Patterson South Wimbledon Community Association on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
