Martinez , I am 13 years old and I’m currently studying at Tugbok National High School as grade 7. I am choir member of our church and in our school. I am glad that God give me this talent because it helps me to boost my confidence. My favorite sports are volleyball, badminton and soccer. My favorite colors are blue, red, pink and my hobbies is singing, dancing and playing. I’m so happy that I have the opportunity to write a letter to you and excited for your response. 3. CULTURE & TRADITIONS GROUP:Merry Rose Hi…..First of all I just want to greet you a pleasant day. But before anything else let me formally introduce myself, I’m Merry Rose M. Torres, 15 years o old. I was born on on September 16, 1996. My mother’s name is Meriam Torres and my father’s name name is Mario Torres but my father died already so I have a stepfather his name is RamilSajol. I have 1 brother name Melvin but he is died already. But now I have three (3) step brother and one (1) step sister namely; Mark (10), David (8), Marlon (7) and Christine Valery (5).I reside at Padre Pio’s home for children governed by the AJC Sisters located at Rambutan Street, Tugbok Proper, Davao City. Currently, I’m fourth year high school student at Tugbok National High School just walking distance from our home. My favorite color is pink, white and brown. My favorite’s sports are volleyball, badminton and chess. My favorite subjects are English, Physics and Economics History as well. My hobbies are reading, writing and spending time listening to music. You know, I know how to play guitar and Rondalla. I wanted to take up Tourism course when enter college. I like person who is loyal, God fearing, thoughtful and a person who can accept me for who I am. And I don’t like a person who is back fighter, likes in gossips, troublemaker and a person who is a bad influence. I like to have a friend from other places and I like to meet them in person. Hope it will come true.

4. CULTURE & TRADITIONS GROUP:Dulce Mae Llacuna • Hi! I'm Dulce Mae P. Llacuna, 17 years of age. I was born on May 15, 1995 at San Francisco, Agusan del Sur. Currently, I am studying at Emar Human and Environmental College. And I just graduated secondary last March 2012. I have many likes and dislikes, but first I want to share to you my likes; I like playing chess, table tennis, badminton and volleyball. I like also to eat different kinds of chocolate. I love spending my time with my friends and my classmates. I love to travel different places and exploring internet. My favorite colors are yellow, green, brown and pink. I love to watch movies like Lord of the ring, Narnia, snow white, the huntsman and Passion of Christ. I love to go to mass to pray & to visit different churches. My favorite countries are Philippines, Poland, Italy, Switzerland and United Kingdom. I love to read the autobiography of the saints and other important persons. And lastly, I love to study.And now I want to share to you about my dislikes. I really hate to watch scary movies and I hate mountain climbing. 5. CULTURE & TRADITIONS GROUP:Jackielyn Hi.....My name isJackielynB. Rita born on February 12, 1996 at Morong, Rizal . I am 16 years old and presently studying at Tugbok National High School. I am graduating student of secondary education this coming March 2013. Someday, I would like to become a successful electrical engineer. I love to play musical instrument like banduria, bajo de arco, flute, piano and specially guitar. I love also sports game like badminton, soccer, baseball but I really prioritize chess and volleyball. In all subject, I love Mathematics and Filipino. In school, I participated in various organizations like Math club, Step club, sports club and pack club. I am also one of the officer her in Padre Pio’s Home for children as business manager and im doing my best to be worthy on my position.I have one younger sister along with me in Padre Pio’s home for children whose name Jessica, she is 14 years old also love to play musical instrument like banduria and flute. She is also one of the best player in chess, love to care animals specially dog. She is known to be animal caregiver at the center and would like to become successful veterinarian.

6. EDUCATION GROUP:MARY KRIS Good day my friend!!!First of all, I want you to know my very wonderful and charming full name; I am Mary KrisG. Donaire, 13 years old and born on May 7, 1999 at Caloocan City, Philippines. Presently, I reside in Padre Pio’s home for children in Rambutan Street, Tugbok Proper, Davao City. My loving mother’s name is Cristina G. Donaire and my father’s name is ChiquitoDonaire. I have older brother whose name is James Bruce Donaire and two sisters living along with me namely Chona Mae Donaire and MirasolDonaire. I experience living in difference place before I admitted at Padre Pio’s home for children. I have different kinds of favorites such as food and fruits, I like different kinds of foods and fruits as long as it is not poisonous and good for the health. My favorite color is yellow and red and my favorite animal is love bird. I hate dogs and cats. I would like to spend my spare time reading different kinds of book like adventures, horror and tales. They say that I am a very talented girl, I love singing different kinds of song and I’m proud to say that I have a very nice golden voice, and I also love to draw & color different things especially if it is about our environment and nature. In sports they say that I am good in Volleyball and all indoor games such as scrabble, chess and many others.I am now in second year high school studying at Tugbok National High School. They say that I am one of the outstanding pupil in school and I admit that, it is because of my extracurricular such as I am class officer and business manager in our science subject but that is not the only one, I am also good on our lesson and I cooperate and listen well to my teacher that’s why I understand well. At school I have a lot of friends because my friend says that I am a type of person who is willing to help and understand if needed, friendly person & happy go lucky girl. And I like the person who is and has a same character in mine, a humble, trustworthy and most of all who is willing to accept me of who I am. On the contrary, I stay away from people who are easily irritated, troublemaker, provoker and most of all who like to gossip other people. I just love traveling and someday I wish I could visit Italy, France and America to visit my friends and to meet new friends. What I hope to be in the future is to become a good Doctor and a Scientist.

I’m 18 years old, born on December 6, 1994 in San Jose del Monte Bulacan, Manila.My father’s name is Allan Gallano and my mother’s name is Rebecca Abaya. I have three brothers and one sister namely Gerald, Ralph Albert, Reynaldo and Geraldine the youngest.Currently, I’m studying at Tugbok National High School as 4th year high school. Our school is just walking distance from our school. I joined different organization in our school and that I have many responsibilities, I considered myself as great officer in SSG (Supreme Student Government) which primarily duties of facilitating and monitoring the students to become discipline and responsible management of school progress as well. Also I am member of Boys Scout of the Philippines and trained to become a Emergency Corps (ESC). I have talent in playing guitar and piano. My hobby is scouting. I have great desire which is to become computer literate. Motto in life is “ There is no Glory without sacrifice.”

I have many likes and dislikes but first I want to share to you about my likes; I like playing volleyball and badminton. I like also to eat different kinds of chocolate. I love also spending time with my friends. I love to travel to different places like in Italy etc. My favorite color is yellow green, blue, red and pink. I love to watch movies like “the Lord of the ring”, Narnia and religious movies. And now I want to share to you about my dislikes; I really hate to watch horror movies. In the future I want to be a successful teacher to help the children most particularly to uplift the living condition of my family.

9. GEOGRAPHY GROUP: JENALYN Hi… My name isJenalynE. Lastra, I am 15 years old. I was born on April 7, 1997 at Mandug, Davao City. Presently, I am residing at Padre Pio’s home for children governed by the Sisters Apostles of Jesus Crucified because my biological family cannot provide my needs due to poverty. I have three (3) sisters and four (4) brothers in our family. My father was missing since I was little girl. My favorite color is blue, pink, black and violet. My favorite food is chocolate and my hobbies are playing volleyball, guitar and drawing and I love also swimming but I don’t know how to dive. I have many friends in school and at the center. During intramural day in our school I’m so very happy because I participated in volleyball game which is one of my favorite sports. I don’t like person who lives in jealousy and pride on her heart. I want good and generous person. My ambition in life is to become a Doctor someday because I want to help those people who are sick and also I want to help my family. I like to read adventures book and like to travel different places such London and Italy. I want also to go in your place to know your culture but the problem I don’t have money and it’s alright. 10. MUSIC GROUP:OLLIEN • Hello everybody! By the way my name is Ollien P. Banga, 14 years old. I am turning 15 years old this coming October 15. Currently, I’m second year student of Tugbok National High School just walking distance from the place where I presently residing at Padre Pio’s Home for Children. I have three brothers and I am the only girl in our family. My father’s name is Norberto Banga and my mother’s name is Daisy Pacyao. Anyway, I came from a broken family at the age of four (4) my mother and father are separated thus I was sheltered at Padre Pio’s Home for Children governed by the Sisters Apostles of Jesus Crucified. My three (3) brothers stayed in another social welfare agency name Field of Dreams because my father can’t afford to support our needs because of financial instability. My three brothers name are Reymark (11) he is at grade 3 level of elementary education; Jano (12) he is at grade four of elementary education and Beronde ( 15) is grade five level of elementary education. My favorite color is blue, white and black. My favorite pets are cat and puppy. My hobbies are reading, writing, playing games and talking with my friends. My talent is playing Rondalla. You know, I like person who is friendly, good, honest and nice. I don’t like person who is back fighter, pride, teasing me and disloyal. Someday, I want to become a musician and Dentist so that I can help those who are in need. Also, someday I want to become youth leader to teach the youth regarding my Catholic faith and to increase more also my learning and to love to Jesus and to our church that in this way I may be a little missionary of Jesus to others.

Presently, I am 3rd year high school student of Tugbok National high school. My mother’s name is Cristina Donaire and my father’s name is ChiquitoDonaire. I had one brother and two sisters. I know how to play Banduria, laud and octavina. I love to play volleyball, chess, badminton and other sports game. My favorite color is red. My hobbies are playing my favorite sports, reading adventures book and I love to explore everything. Sometimes my sisters accompany me by playing chess, volleyball and badminton. Also I love my sister very much and they love me also.You know when I grow up my ambition in life is to become accounting graduate; you know why I like accountancy because I love Mathematics subject that’s why!

By the way I will introduce my very beautiful full name; I’m AntonetteB. Himongala 16 years of age. I have long wavy black hair, medium nose bridge, brown eyes, fair complexion and have regular body built at my age. I was born on June 14, 1996 in Sibagat, Agusan Del Sur very far from the place which I presently residing at Rambutan Street, Tugbok Proper, Davao City particularly at Padre Pio’s Home for children governed by the AJC Sisters. My loving mother’s name is Margie Himongala and my father’s name is PepitoDantes but my father was died due to vehicular accident. I was six (6) years old when my father’s died but I am conscious at that time when my father’s passed away. I felt the pain of my mother and started my life struggle being a child orphaned by a father. My mother had another family, she is living in Manila. I have one step brother his name is Kyle Patrick Himongala and my step sister name is Michaela Himongala.I finished my elementary education at Sibagat Central Elementary School and currently I’m studying at Tugbok, National, High School as 4th year high school student. My favorite subject is Mathematics because I like to solve numbers but my problem is English because and I’m having difficulty to speak it. I’ll try my best to study English language because it is universal language. I have many friends in our school. On August 10, 2012 during our school intramural I won first prize in double category and 2nd prize winner for single category of table tennis I’m so very happy because God given me this talent. Now that I am in fourth (4) year high school level I have lots of dreams to fulfill but I put all my trust in God. One day when I was in our classroom I felt uneasy I don’t know what happen to myself on that day I can felt the emptiness of my heart, so I want to know what’s really inside my heart. I decided to enter in the AJC convent to know what God’s plan is for me. I didn’t expect that God would give it to me. I know in every decision God will guide me. I know also that a journey with God is a journey to success. You know I’m emotional girl that’s why many people ask me why I look sad they don’t know what’s my feelings. But I really trust God and to pray and pray.I like different kind of food and fruits as long as it is not poisonous and it is good for the health. I love to eat chocolate. I like sports game particularly table tennis in fact I am representative of our classroom competing table tennis sports during our school intramurals but fortunately I lost but it’s alright I will make good next time.
