We are an open, inclusive university whose foundation is intellectual and academic freedom. • Our scholarship unites teaching and research: we celebrate discovery, diversity and dialogue. • Our students and communities can expect teaching that is personal and learning opportunities that are lifelong. • We champion the liberal arts and sciences and pioneering interdisciplinary and professional programs. • We are a university where risks can be taken and bold initiatives embraced. • Upon these foundations, we will engage all our communities in building a robust and ethical society.

  3. What we have done! • 15 presentations between September 2008 – May 2009 • since September 2009, 3 presentations • 5 more presentations scheduled

  4. The Survey • intended for Faculty in the Faculty of Health Sciences • involved closed and open ended questions • questions ranged from how much each faculty member new about NTDs, to whether they believed global access policies should be adopted • received mixed results, but identified key players

  5. What the future holds…  Should SFU-UAEM continue with global access principle/policy implementation OR use deep member base on more specific campaign? BUT!
