  9. IJSO – 香港選拔 2009-10 • 2010 7th IJSO 尼日利亞 • 香港國際初中科學奧林匹克籌委會決定 • 香港隊不會參加該屆賽事 • 今年選拔賽的香港隊將參與2011 8th IJSO • 培訓期延長至一年半

  10. IJSO – 香港選拔 2009-10 • 參賽資格 • 每間學校可提名最多六名學生 • 所有參賽學生必須於比賽時未滿十六歲，即於1996年1月1日或之後出生 • 名單提交後不能更改 • 截止報名日期：2009年11月30日

  11. IJSO – 香港選拔 2009-10 • 選拔賽 • 2010年2月27日星期六 • 地點將於網站公佈 • 1小時15分鐘筆試，包括30題多項選擇題及3題結構式題目 • 提供中文及英文試卷題目 • 學生須以提名表格上選擇的語言作答 • 所有題目主要根據香港中一至中四的科學科課程、IJSO範圍及其他科學範疇製訂

  14. IJSO – 香港選拔 2009-10 • 選拔賽評分標準 • 評改每隊學生的多項選擇題部份 • 如得分高於籌委會訂立的標準，結構式題目部份才會被評改 • 結合兩部份最佳成績的約80位學生將可參加第一階段培訓課程

  15. IJSO – 香港選拔 2009-10 • 選拔賽奬項 • 個人奬項 • 一等奬：最佳成績10% 學生 • 二等奬：次20%學生 • 三等奬：再次30%學生 • 團體奬項 • 每間參賽學校隊伍可競逐冠、亞、季、殿團體奬項

(b) Briefly describe how you can distinguish the 2 balloons in a school laboratory. (c) How are hydrogen and helium produced industrially? (d) Black balloons can also float when they are put under the sun. Why?

  18. IJSO – 香港選拔 2009-10 • 培訓課程 • 課程將於2010年4月至2011年11月舉行 • 課程內容將以英文輔以廣東話進行 • 課程共分三個階段共235小時 • 第一階段約80學生 • 第二階段約15學生 • 第三階段6位學生 • 每階段完結後將設立選拔賽，最後選出6名學生代表香港參加2011年第八屆國際初中科學奧林匹克

IJSO Affective ProgrammeJuly 2009 Targets: • Six S3 students receiving intensive training for the 6th IJSO (International Junior Science Olympiad) to be held in Azerbaijan from 2-11 December 2009; • They were screened from all secondary schools and only 50 students were accepted for the Phase 1 training; • 18 out of the 50 Phase 1 students were selected for the Phase 2 training

  20. Apart from the academic training the phase 2 students would join an Affective Education Programme (6 sessions-12 hours) • Finally 6 students would be selected for Phase 3 training and they are the delegates of HK Team

  21. Aims:- To enhance self-esteem and know one’s interest, strengths and weakness;- To enhance students’ communication and collaborative skills;- To explore individual’s value and career path
