  3. How to cope with StudentWeb • Master’s Degree seeking students admitted to English taught programs: • Quota students • Self-financing students • Erasmus Mundus HRPP-students • Login option: https://studweb.uit.no/isapi/WebObjects.dll/studentweb?inst=uit

  4. New inter-nationalstudents should start withthislogin. Youwillneed a Norwegian ID number and a PIN code to usethislogin. The Diploma from UIT The Arctic University of Norway is issuedwithyour Norwegian ID number. Pleasesubmitdocumentation at the Student Information Desk (located in the Adm. Building, 2nd Floor) for registration in the Student database as soon as possible.

  5. Choose English as language! Forgot your username and password?

  6. The registration for classes and examscanonly be continuedafter: 1. Havingpaid the semester fee (NOK 500,-). 2. Havingregisteredyourpayment in the student database.

  7. Havingpaid and registered the semester feeStudentWebwilllook like this.

  8. TherearetwoIndividualeducation plans. Plan 1 is aboutyourrights and duties as a student at the UIT and UIT’sresponsabilities and dutiestowardsyou. You have to confirmthatyou have read and understoodthisinformation in order to proceed to plan 2. Clickhere in order to proceed.

  9. Proceed by clickinghere. Youarealsoinformed of specialrules and regulationsthatapplyfor your program by clickinghere.

  10. Clickon the «pencils» to register for classes and exams. All compulsorycoursesare marked with red.

  11. Register for classes and examshere. Withdrawal from exams/changes is also to be done here (within the deadline). Normallyyoucanselectsomeelectives, butyou have to discussthiswith the program coordinator at yourFaculty first. Havingregistered for classes and exams, clickhere.

  12. Mandatory! In order to receive the semester registrationreceiptwithwaifer/sticker for the student card, the contactinformationhas to be updated. ClickonNorwegian semester address.

  13. Fill in youraddress in Tromsø: Street name+ number, ev. roomnumber and Postal code. ClickOK-Save. Youshouldcheckyour UiT e-mail regularly.

  14. Youcancheck the results of yourexams and findinformationaboutyour right of appeal here.

  15. The transcript of recordsaresigned and stamped by staff at UiT. Youcan order the transcript in English or in Norwegian.

  16. Youcandownload the paymentinformationhere (from the 2nd semester on). Pleaseignorethisinformationifyourpayment has beenregistered in the student database.

  17. Semester fee • Master students have to paythe semester fee of NOK 500,- beforeregistration at StudentWebeach semester (exept for Erasmus Mundus HRPP-students). A payment giro is available at the Accommodation Office • Apayment giro is handedoutonlythe 1st semester to newstudents. «Old» students shouldpay semester fee from theirown bank. Paymentinformationwill be available at StudentWeb in the beginning of each semester under Paymentand Giro.

  18. Deadlines: • Registration for classes and examswithin: • 1 February (spring semester) • 1 September (autumn semester) • Withdrawal from examswithin: • 1 November/15 April • or 14 daysbeforeactualexam
