The CMS collaboration reports successful results from a forward hadronic calorimeter luminosity measurement scan. Conducted by an experienced team of researchers including N. Adam, R. Hall-Wilton, and others, the scan exhibited smooth operation and exemplary communication with the LHC. Two separate scans were performed, yielding effective results at specified CMS beam crossings. Continued requests for further scans are encouraged to establish optimal conditions for future fills. These results contribute significantly to the refinement of luminosity measurement techniques in high-energy physics experiments.

Conclusions • We had a successful scan today, operation was smooth and the communication with LHC was excellent. • We would like to request further scans from LHC to establish on regular basis the optimum conditions for the next fill
