Inserting Sound into a Power Point Presentation

Learn how to seamlessly add sound to your PowerPoint presentations to enhance your storytelling. Start by clicking on the INSERT tab in the ribbon and select the SOUND option. Choose your desired audio file and decide if you want the sound to play throughout the entire presentation. If you don’t select an option, the sound will stop when you advance to the next slide. Additionally, use the dropdown in Options to select “Play across slides” for continuous playback. Make your presentations more engaging with this simple technique!

  2. For one song though out the presentation • Click INSERT • In the ribbon select Sound: • Indicate which option you desire:

  3. Indicate which song you desire • Decide if you want the sound to be played through out the presentation

  4. If you do not select an option for the sound then it stops with the next slide. • Select Options and “Play Sounds” pull down on arrow for “play across slides” • TADA!!! • The END
