Does this person consistently handle money according to God’s principles? Does this person have a reasonable lifestyle? If this person is married, is the spouse in favour of the partnership? Is the spouse a person of integrity? Is this person as hardworking as I am?

If so, how much and to whom? Will we sue to collect debts? Will we hire family members in the business? Will we hire non-Christian employees? Managers? How many hours per week will we commit to work in the business?

Have we executed a buy-sell agreement? How will it be funded? Will we sell the business at some future date? Have we clearly defined our respective responsibilities? Are we willing to be accountable to each other and to an outside person/group?

God is the One who ultimately provides for and prospers us. Our responsibility is to conduct our businesses faithfully in ways that please the Lord, trusting Him for provision.
