  2. Objectives and Goals: • Why this project/study? • Use only 1 page/slide to describe the objectives/goals. • For instance: • Improved Quality • Reduced Lead Time • Lower Costs • Better Predictions • Reduced Weight • Better Material Characterization

  3. Background: Use at maximum 2 pages to describe the theoretical approach or background (if applicable). The complete theoretical background is in your paper and the attendees can read it, if/when necessary. In your oral presentation, please focus on the specific theoretical features you wish to put forward or have conducted experiments to verify.

  4. Materials: Use only 1 slide to describe the properties of the materials used or investigated.

  5. Experimental Procedures: Use at maximum 2 slides to describe the experimental set-up and the experimental procedures used.

  6. Results and Discussion: This is the heart of the talk use several slides to convey the results and to present the implications of these results.

  7. Summary and Conclusions: Use 1 slide to provide a summary and conclusions. Do not repeat what the investigation has been about and what has been done. Please focus on findings and conclusions.

  8. Other Issues: • The presentation material must be prepared in English. • The presentation must be given in English. • Use Microsoft PowerPoint (PC compatible) to prepare your presentation. • Please prepare a presentation which is compatible with the time allocated to your presentation. Reserve some minutes for questions and answers. • Bring your presentation on a jump drive or a CD. The presentations will need to be uploaded to the conference computers prior to each session. • Please meet your session moderator during registration, during a coffee break, or at lunch. • Prepare a brief note (max 1/2 page) of you background and affiliation and give it to your moderator before the session. • Please be in the dedicated conference room 15 minutes prior to your presentation. • The session moderator will stop the presentation a few minutes in advance to allow questions and stops the presentation and Q&A when the allocated time has passed.
