  1. Better Together:A growing community In 1840 the decision was taken to establish a laboratory so they could test the seed themselves for germination and purity - a practice which became law 80 years later with the passing of the Seeds Act, 1920 We still have our own seed testing laboratory along with trial grounds. Our varieties continue to be tested to ensure high germination, quality and purity levels.

  2. Better Together:A growing community Good examples Building each other Considering each other Teaching each other Cautioning each other Confessing to each other Forgiving each other

  3. Better Together:A serving community How do we serve each other in a way that will make us strong? Clear the ground… Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. (Eph 4:32).

  4. Better Together:A serving community Serve one another You were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love. (Gal 5:13–14). How are you part of the serving life of the church? How do you make sure you serve with joy not duty?

  5. Better Together:A serving community Serve generously Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. …God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. (2 Co 9:6–8) How willing are you to use your skills, time and money? What can you generously give?

  6. Better Together:A serving community Serve sacrificially This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. Do you know the joy of sacrificial service? Is there some way God is asking you to serve him sacrificially at the moment?

  7. Better Together:A serving community Serve humbly …all of you must put on the apron of humility, to serve one another; for the scripture says, “God resists the proud, but shows favour to the humble.” (1 Pe 5:5, GNB) How might I more delight in humble service? Where can I actively serve when gathering with the church community?

  8. Better Together:A serving community Serve well Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms. (1 Pe 4:10). God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another. (NLT) Am I serving well in God’s house? How can we level out the service?
