The Student Council, cheerleaders, and Multimedia class collaborated to launch the "Don't Text and Drive!" campaign as part of OTSD. They engaged the community with vibrant rainbow tie-dye shirts at sporting events and invited students to make a "No Phone Zone" promise, rewarding participants with OTSD backpacks. Enthusiasm soared as the school spirit was boosted during the basketball regional championships, with foam fingers distributed at "Senior Night." Additionally, Allstate's safety messages were prominently displayed, and students participated in the Driving Skills for Life program, with engaging rewards.

Student Council, Civics, cheer leaders, and the Multimedia class collaborated to make OTSD happen. • We chose a rainbow tie-dye shirt to grab the attention of the public at sporting events.
Don’t Text and DrIvE! • The students chose Don’t Text and DrIvE! as their slogan.
OTSD Has Your Back • Each high school student was asked to complete a “No Phone Zone” promise. • We had 60 students return their forms.
OTSD Has Your Back • In return, they got an OTSD back pack.
OTSD is #1!! • With our high school basketball team making a run to the regional championship, OTSD helped us show some school spirit!
OTSD is #1!! • 100 fans and students received these foam fingers at our “Senior Night”. • The crowd continued taking them to the conference and regional tournaments.
Raise that flag!!! • With the troublesome weather issues, we chose to hang the Allstate flag inside the building.
#gettheresafe • The Allstate posters were hung in our highest traffic areas outside each entrance and in the high school stairwell. • This allowed the public, as • well as the students, to see • the posters during daily • school and sporting activities.
Pizza! Pizza! • OTSD was included in the planning of some events for homecoming week. • Pizza was purchased from Little Caesar’s to help fuel the thought process.
Driving Skills for Life • Students were given directions how to complete the Ford Driving Skills for Life, via the daily video announcements.
Listen Up!!! • Students that completed the program and got their DFSL Certificate received OTSD headphones.
Let’s go shopping! • In addition to getting OTSD headphones, those that received the DFSL certificate, went into a drawing for $20 WalMart cards.
Winner, winner. Pizza dinner! • That class that turned in the most DFSL certificates was awarded with a pizza party from Little Caesers.
Thank you for the opportunity to participate in OTSD and we hope for the same chance again next year.
