GAIL’s MAJOR BUSINESS ACTIVITIES • NATURAL GAS TRANSPORTATION AND DISTRIBUTION (Over 4500 kms of gas pipelines , 90% Market Share). • NATURAL GAS PROCESSING (7 Plants in 6 locations producing over 1.3 million TPA of Liquid Hydrocarbons i.e LPG, Propane, Pentane & SBPS). • PETROCHEMICALS ( 3 00,000 TPA ethylene along with Downstream units LLDPE/HDPE) • LPG TRANSPORTATION (2300 km of pipelines). • TELECOM (Bandwidth Provider - 1650 kms of OFC based DWDM). • EXPLORATION AND PRODUCTION ( Blocks: 11 in India one in Myanmar). • RETAIL MARKETING (CNG and City gas distribution).
