  2. CWS-P/A/ Ghulam Rasool Since 21 July, flood waters have devastated huge swathes of Pakistan, including this hospital.

  3. Praying for Pakistan I called on your name, O Lord, from the depths of the pit; you heard my plea, 'Do not close your ear to my cry for help, but give me relief! You came near when I called on you; you said, ‘Do not fear!' Lamentations 3, 55-57

  4. CWS-P/A/ Zafar Wazir The extent of the flooding is severe, covering land and ruining crops.

  5. As the monsoon rains fall relentlessly from the skies,as rivers burst their banks, bridges are swept away and dams crumble,as flash floods sweep down carrying destruction over innumerable miles,there is water everywhere,and none of it is clean.All-compassionate God,deliver the people of Pakistan. Praying for Pakistan

  6. Praying for Pakistan From thirst that can find only filthy water to drink, from water-borne and skin diseases, from the drowning of people and animals All-compassionate God, deliver the people of Pakistan.

  7. Sujag Sansar Organisation Families try desperately to salvage their household items.

Praying for Pakistan Our brother Jesus, in the motherless child, the distraught mother, the bereft widow, the weeping father, you saw your own child, sister, mother, brother, regardless of race, creed or country. Still you call us to see with your eyes, to act with your will, to love with your love. God in your mercy, hear our prayer.

  10. Praying for Pakistan We remember everyone who, in these last days, has found themselves homeless or uprooted, whose land is devastated, and those who have lost everything. They are so many. In the face of such immense tragedy, we pray for an immense humanitarian response, beginning with us. Let us not offer to God offerings that cost us nothing. God in your mercy, hear our prayer.

  11. Praying for Pakistan Preserve all who are working to bring rescue and relief and sustain us in a living hope, not in our own strength but in your power to love and to bring change to hopeless places. God in your mercy, hear our prayer.
