  2. Raise your hand Have you been to any of the following in the last week? • A mall • A grocery store • A coffee shop • A social media site (Facebook, etc.) Would you be able to identify potential signs of recruitment if you saw them in action?

  3. Pay Attention Learn how to recognize a pimp/trafficker: • Makes promises that are too good to be true • Suggests they know how to make money • Buys expensive gifts and likes to flash money • Is vague about his/her profession • Significantly older or controlling boyfriend

  4. You can make a difference. • Know the tricks used by traffickers • Be a good friend • Report it: If you or your friend is targeted by a pimp online or in person… • Tell someone you trust! • Report it to the police. • Call 1-800-THE-LOST or use the web: www.cybertipline.org
