  1. Resolve to be Found Faithful

  2. Psalm 51:10 “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.”

  3. I WILL seek to honor God, be faithful to His church, obey His Word, and do His will.

  4. Four Key Words • Honor • Faithful • Obey • Do

  5. Honoring God The true meaning of honor is discovering what life is all about. Is my life about me or about Him? Is it a picture a honor or dishonor toward God?

  6. Give God the Glory Avoid self-glory and praise, "Let another man praise you, and not your own mouth, a stranger and not your own lips." (Proverbs 27:2) Preparing for eternity - "Worthy are You, Our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and because of your will they existed, and were created." (Revelation 4:11)

  7. Faithful to His Church "We who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members od one another." (Romans 12:5) Double connection - Christ and the church. The church is my spiritual family.

  8. Four Keys • Show up and get involved. • Fix your eyes on Jesus, not on people. • Be a blessing, not dead weight. • Finally, share life with other believers.

  9. I Will Obey His Word The Bible is the Word of God. 1 Thessalonians 2:13, "when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men, but for what it really is, the word of God, which also performs its work in you who believe." The word is meant to be lived and obeyed.

  10. Biblical Illiteracy A man of resolution spends time with God and prayer and studying His Word. A man of resolution shepherds his family. Faithful men are faithful to the words of the Word!

  11. I Will Do His Will John 6:38, "I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of Him who sent me." Chuck Swindoll said, "The safest place to live is the center of God's will." The will of God is not to be feared, but discovered in a man of resolution.

  12. Romans 12:1-2 “I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.”

  13. Ron Dunn Equation PRESENTATION of our lives +  TRANSORMATION of our minds = REVELATION of His will

  14. Courageous Challenge Make a commitment to attend church a small Bible study group every week for the next month.

  15. Memory Verse Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they existed, and were created. (Revelation 4:11)

  16. Resolve to be Found Faithful I WILL seek to honor God, be faithful to His church, obey His Word, and do His will. Discussion Question: Which area of the resolution do you find to be most challenging in your daily walk with the Lord?
