  3. 策馬特(Zermatt)位於瑞士西南部瓦萊斯州(Valais)阿爾卑斯山的群峰之中，近義大利邊界，素有「冰川之城」的美稱，一個以德語和天主教為主的小鎮，是世界著名的無汽車污染的山間旅遊勝地。德文Zermatt指「平緩的草原」，但當地人說是「By The Shadow」意思「陰影旁邊」，這個迷人的山間小山城，蟄伏在馬特洪峰(Matterhorn)山腳下，是攀登馬特洪峰的起點，因馬特宏峰而身價不凡。38座海拔4,000公尺以上的高峰圍繞著策馬特，在群山環繞的緩丘草地上建立起的山中小城，海拔1,620公尺，走進小鎮，兩邊峭壁，留下小小的狹長谷地，中間一條Visp河，人口只有15,000人，這個小鎮成為探訪此名山的落腳點，各地的遊客匯聚於此。這裡有絕佳的登山健行步道與滑雪場，滑雪道總長245公里，可以欣賞到宏偉壯麗的山峰和冰川景色。考慮環保因素，體型輕巧的電動車、馬車成為策馬特鎮內主要的交通工具。搭乘登山電車或纜車可以到逹高納葛拉特(Gornergrat)、洛特洪峰(Rothorn)、馬特宏峰冰川天堂等地的眺望台，盡情享受眼前雄偉的群山、眺望冰河，一年四季都可盡情欣賞雄偉的阿爾卑斯山的美景。冬季這裡吸引了眾多滑雪愛好者，這裡的徒步旅行也相當受歡迎。鎮內有傳統農舍式的旅館、豪華的酒店，還有青年旅社和公寓，也設有滑板滑雪器材出租店和半管形滑道。許多愛好徒步旅行與滑雪活動的人士將策馬特視為天堂，終年遊客比當地的居民多的多，不但名列世界十大滑雪區中，也是歐洲高消費指數區域之一。 Edited by Kenny
