  2. What is abortion? • The deliberate termination of a human pregnancy

  3. America as a whole • Americans remains sharply divided over the issue of abortion. Many people believe that abortion should be allowed but under very strict circumstances. Rape victims and those with incurable diseases that may pass on to their children are the limitations in which people should be allowed to have this operation performed.

  4. Barack Obama • -"I'm pro-choice, but I think we also have the tradition in this town, historically, of not financing abortions as part of government-funded health care," he said, adding: "My main focus is making sure that people have options of high quality care at the lowest possible price."

  5. Mitt Romney • -“I am pro-life. I believe that abortion is the wrong choice except in cases of incest, rape, and to save the life of the mother.”

  6. Chelsea West • “Abortion is wrong in any aspect. Killing a child in the wound, developed or not, is murder. There is no excuse for killing an innocent child even if you are a rape victim, adoption is always a positive substitute.”

  7. Sean Johnson • “I can’t exactly choose for or against from this topic. Some of us never know the position someone is in or forced into. People that go through life day to day and can hardly afford to pay for themselves, are not financially able to take care of a child. Yes women should remain celibate, but everyone makes mistakes. I would never allow the woman carrying my baby to have an abortion but who are we to judge someone elsesdecision when we don’t have the slightest idea of the life they live.”

  8. Milton Sanders • “If both parents are not financial stable and struggle enough as it is to support themselves and still choose to bring a child into the cruel world we live in then you basically already killed the baby. Abortion should always be an option for financially unstable.”

  9. P.J provenzano • “ Everyone makes mistakes. The world is full of screwed up people and if it’s a legal process then why are people fighting against it? People that take the responsibility of having sexual intercourse with someone else, also has the right to make their own decision in choosing the fate of the child THEY created. ”

  10. Zane pilch • “It depends on both parties marital and relationship status. No kid deserves to grow up in a divided home. I can say from personal experience that nothing hurts as bad as seeing your child upset everyday because the parents just can’t get it together. You’re already causing the child enough emotional damage, so if you can’t make it work between each other, then don’t bring a child into the mess already created.”

  11. Heather metcalf • “I’m against abortion, because if a female decides to lay down in bed with a man and chooses not to use a condom, or even have sex for that matter, it then falls into her own hands. There is enough birth control around to prevent pregnancy . Women should take all the necessary precautions to keep from being pregnant. Killing a growing human is wrong in any kind of situation or circumstance unless they were a rape victim.”

  12. Stephanie Brown • “Everything and everyone serves a purpose. God made my son for a reason, no matter the struggles I went through with his father, I know that me and my son will always share an unconditional love for each other. No child should be aborted for someone else's mistakes.”
