Their god is their appetite, they brag about shameful things, and they think only about this life here on earth.” 2 Timothy 3:4-5 “… lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” Do you have another god before the Lord?

You shall not bow down to them or worship them.”

They said to me, 'Make us gods who will go before us. As for this fellow Moses who brought us up out of Egypt, we don't know what has happened to him.' So I told them, 'Whoever has any gold jewellery, take it off.' Then they gave me the gold, and I threw it into the fire, and out came this calf!"

As for this fellow Moses who brought us up out of Egypt, we don't know what has happened to him.“ Exodus 32:5-6 “…he built an altar in front of the calf and announced, "Tomorrow there will be a festival to the LORD." So the next day the people rose early and sacrificed burnt offerings and presented fellowship offerings. Afterward they sat down to eat and drink and got up to indulge in revelry.”

God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth." If your God is the God of the Bible, then you need to go with what the Bible says about Him Anything that gets in between you and God is an idol

For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin.”(ESV) If your God is the God of the Bible, then you need to go with what the Bible says about Him Anything that gets in between you and God is an idol The 10 Commandment can be broken up into 2 parts

I believe that Jesus died and shed His blood for me and He rose again so I could live for you. Fill me with your Holy Spirit so I can serve you with all of my heart, fully devoted to you. Thank you for new life; and tonight I give you my life In Jesus' name I pray.
