Richardson Commander The AETC Contracting Squadron (AETC CONS) is assigned to the HQ AETC Contracting Division (A7K), Directorate of Logistics, Installation, and Mission Support (A4/7), Randolph AFB TX. AETC CONS is responsible for all unique and/or complex acquisitions in support of HQ AETC, as well as major acquisitions which exceed local base level responsibility. AETC CONS also provides contracting support to the Air Force Civil Engineer Support Agency (AFCESA), Air Force Recruiting Service (AFRS), and the Air Force Security Assistance Training office.

What we Buy • If a requirement is considered unique and/or complex, or involves more than one AETC base, the AETC CONS will likely be the contracting activity utilized • Typical requirements include: T-37/T-38 aircraft maintenance, recruiting advertising, undergraduate pilot training, training requirements for foreign military sales, base operations support, air combat range management, IT Services, pilot and navigator training, AF Utilities Privatization, aircraft simulator training, general civil engineering support, and construction • Some Commodities at Year End

  3. FY08 Status • $109.6M was awarded to Small Businesses   • $66.7M was awarded to Hubzone   • $7.8M was awarded SDVOSB. Our goal for SDVOSB was 1.7%, the CONS total awarded percentage was 2.35%   • $97.2M was awarded to SDB   • $42.4M was awarded to WOSB
