  2. Ballot Reconciliation Status • Ballot reconciliation is 50% complete, with 472 comments resolved; 296 of 332 editing assignments completed (v15)

Major Concepts Resolved between the Balloted IG and this Pilots IG • Architecture – 5 Components combined into 4 Profiles • MSH-21 fixed to OIDs as profile identifiers (1..*) • Base Component with 2 sets of modifiers • The members of a set are mutually exclusive, e.g., set 1: GU and NG • Vocabulary • Use of SNOMED, LOINC, UCUM, stronger conformance language under consideration • Relationship to Orders • For data elements from orders, content is echoed without mod • Snapshot mode – all exchanges are in snapshot mode

  5. Major Concepts Still to be Resolved • Parent-child linking • Sometimes resolving a comment causes previous items to be re-reviewed

Data Type Specialization • Data Types specialized for use of universally unique identifiers (OIDs) and non-unique identification • CX-GU and CX-NG • EI-GU and EI-NG • EIP-GU and EIP-NG • HD-GU and HD-NG • XCN-GU and XCN-NG • XON-GU and XON-NG • Data types to enforce coded data • CWE-CR – code required • CWE-CRE – code required, but may be empty
