Oak Class embarked on an exciting school trip to Kentwell Hall, where we immersed ourselves in Tudor history. Dressed in my homemade Tudor costume as a poor girl, an apron crafted from a pillowcase and a hat made from a t-shirt, I joined my friend Ellen, who bravely held a heavy musket. We learned a traditional Tudor dance with fun steps: 8 to the left, 8 to the right, and more. It was a memorable day filled with history, friendship, and dance, bringing the Tudor era to life!

This is me in my Tudor costume My costume was a poor Tudor girl. I made it out of my old clothes. I made my apron out of a pillow case. For the hat, I made it out of a t-shirt. Under my dress I had a another t-shirt that was bigger than my hat.
This is Ellen my friend This is Ellen holding a musket. The musket is very heavy . You have to be really strong to hold a musket in battle. It was quite heavy for Ellen but I don’t know how heavy it was Sid because he held the musket as well!
