The goal • NO: Every faculty member has to have a website • YES: Every student, in every class, has online access to helpful information about their courses and instructors
Design Objectives • Provide <basic> web sites for faculty • Make it <easier> than • HTML • FrontPage • Expressions Web • SharePoint • Dreamweaver • Provide the Pierce College <look and feel> • Make course files <easily accessible> • Editable from <most> web browzers
What it’s not • A free-form, design-it-yourself tool • No data-driven automation • It’s NOT for everyone • Experienced FrontPage or Dreamweaver users • Professional web designers • People who think of Spiderman when you say “The Web” (but, perhaps we can fix that )
