  2. A security guard monitors buildings and other areas to prevent any incident like theft or violence etc in a specific area. His duty is also pre-inspect the threat and apprehend individuals. Many large industries hire a Security guard to manage the security system overall. To become a security guard in Sydney you have a valid licence for that to get that you must pass Security Licence Course for this. • Some security guards go on to become police or law enforcement officers and study while working full-time to earn an online associate’s or a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.

Duties of Security Guard • Get connected and have good relationships with law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency medical personnel • Note down the daily activities that include all the disturbance that occurred for the whole day. Note down and report the damage caused due to that distrubce • Ensure alarm systems, doors, and windows are all secure and properly working • May interview witnesses and/or testify in court • Patrol and inspect property to protect it from fire, theft, vandalism, or other criminal activities
