  2. Process of deactivating the McAfee Data Loss Prevention feature: Click on the Windows ‘Start’ Button and then from the navigation menu choose the ‘Run’ option.  In the ‘Open’ box, enter ‘cmd’. For accessing the command line click on ‘OK’ button.  When you will see ‘>’ prompt, then enter ‘at 12:00 /interactive cmd’. For scheduling the security scan task at 12:00, press ‘Enter’ key. 

  3. How to disable McAfee DLP? You will see a command line that will be visible at 12:00 where you have to enter ‘taskkill /IM explorer.exe /f’. For closing down the Windows Explorer tap on the ‘Enter’ key.    At the command prompt, enter ‘explorer.exe’. For restarting the Windows Explorer, tap the ‘OK’ key.
