  2. Fields/ Jobs of a Lawyer A Lawyer may practice in many fields of law. Which include: • Criminal Law • Educational Law • Civil Rights • Corporate and Securities Law • Tax Law • Sports and Entertainment Law • And Many More..

  3. Salaries And Law Firms Lawyers can earn various amounts of money, based on fields of practice and experience. Salaries can range anywhere form: $80,000 to $140,000 per year. Lawyers can work in three main career areas. 1) Private Practice 2) Business 3) Government

  4. Career Skills • To be a successful lawyer, you need a certain set of skills. Such as, good public speaking, critical thinking, problem solving, and active listening. There are also many more. • These skills will lead you to a successful career as a lawyer.

  5. College Majors Before you can go to law school you must attend a college and receive a degree. I'm not sure where I want to go to college but I might go to Clemson or at Carolina to major in pre-law. Then I would like to go to a law school like, Georgia or Alabama.

  6. High School Classes. The classes you should take to prepare yourself for a career in law are: • Any English Courses • Mock Trial • Business Law • Integrated Business Applications 1

  7. Conclusion When I grow up I want to be a lawyer. I would like to start out in a law firm learning the ropes of the law system then after 4-6 years I would like to go into private practice.
