Ed Friday Day 4: Media Thank you! Thank you! I want to thank all of you for helping us to get off to a great start! It really helps when everyone has the supplies and support that they need to do well. In math we started our fluency unit. This is a review of the basic facts in all operations. We will also talk about the basic properties and strategies that we use in math. Please study the times and division facts with your student. It is important that they start to know these automatically. Look for homework almost every night for math. Please read the Home School Connection sheet that comes home for reading each week starting this coming Monday. This sheet has a synopsis of what we will be studying in Language Arts along with the current week’s spelling words. In language arts this week we worked on some poetry and started the first story in our first unit. Be on the lookout for the first “little book” to come home on Monday. We worked on our Bus Safety unit this week, also. We will start our first unit in social studies next week. Mrs. Dehmlow wants to remind parents to make sure your student has tennis shoes on gym days. Please read over the orange Banking On Behavior sheet that is in your child’s Friday folder.
