  2. Evaluation training ITS in Bologna Suggestions for improvements and changes were as follows: Improve timing. Day 1 was spoiled by wrong lunch timing. Better time keeping Better, clearer and louder presentations from speakers More practical issues/exercises Give more practical cases, including arguments why it was done

  3. 9th training workshop “The fourth training will be focused on “legacy” (i.e. how do measures stay alive after the project financing ends, how to mainstream within the general urban transport policy these measures that are primarily focused on experiment and research) and could be aimed at CIVITAS Plus handover to CIVITAS Plus II.” Is this a good idea? • Can we reach non-CIVITAS cities? • Will people travel for this at 3 months before the end of the project? • What is the impact of the training? • Danger of engaging in discussions about exploitation and formal expectations from the EC

  4. 9th training: alternative options • Legacy, links with DLG • Urban Freight: how to continue working with private stakeholders • Integrated planning: taking on board the Bucharest experience + remarks EC about SUMP practice

  5. 9th training: Legacy Three building blocks: • Upscaling in practice • Financing • Institutional set-up

  6. 10 years of CIVITAS • High profile • printed invitation • High-profile venue • networking activity (cocktail) • EMW period (16-22 September) • Key-note speakers of EC, City, Research community and Industry • ICLEI resources, MOSTRA involvement • Concept to be clarified in a paper to the EC

Next steps • Involvement strategy • Each working group process manager should write half a page about his/her plans with the group • Discussion rules to be defined by Polis • Migration towards new platform in spring • Evaluation when there is reasonable activity.

  9. Thematic group: webinar less car intensive lifestyles at an early age • End of February? (with rehearsal mid February) • Three speakers (7 minutes each) • Platform? (WebEx) • Afterwards: • Movie clips online • Continue chat discussion (where?)

  10. Study Tour • Second planned in March in B&H • Peter is exploring to possibilitys given at last DLG • Other possibilities: • Study visit San Sebastian back to back with Next Forum in september or Archimedes CM in May. - Expended Study tour catalogue can be expected in Feburary.
