Recognizing the need for heroes in times of crisis, the Hurricane Recovery Program awards $1.4 million to 29 organizations for resiliency projects on the Gulf Coast. These non-profit organizations, including the Jackson County Community Services Coalition and the Lynn Meadows Discovery Center, are working towards healing, planning, relief, and redevelopment in the aftermath of disasters. The Coalition for Citizens with Disabilities of Mississippi and the Gulf Coast Women's Center for Non-Violence are among the recipients, aiming to protect and support vulnerable communities. Join forces with Mercy Housing & Human Development, Inc., and others to celebrate resilience and care for the caregiver.
