  2. events and where we stand with respect to the plan to completion • - Achieving basic (ε,p) optics design: - beginning with (6pi, 200) • Current Status: TTL/G4BL difference - G4BL statistics problem believed fixed (outliers):- - G4BL/G4MICE acquired to by KT/MA/(HN) • Next steps: - Re-evaluate in G4BL - Study remaining discrepancies. -Tune directly or otherwise in G4BL (internal opt / G4BL + TPT etc) - Maybe a few weeks before we can recommence • - Overall progress:- Difficult to quantify length of time before which have (6pi,200) in G4BL and confident in result, but optimistic is achievable.   3. 2. events and where we stand with respect to the plan to completion • Preparations in order to commission beamline in Phase 1 • for pre-Phase1… • Current Status: Need for Basic beam monitors - FNAL detectors offered. DAQ from Frascati tests(?) - Next steps: - specify # & sizes of FNAL detectors, check magnetic field environment, RAL engineering implications asap,(lead time?) • Plans for magnet field tests.- Basic scheme available • - Next steps: - specify support jigs ~ May for ~ July tests. • - Other actions:Need to further consider plans/needs for pre-Phase1 - eg can we/ do we need to do BBA?   4. 2. events and where we stand with respect to the plan to completion • Preparations in order to commission beamline in Phase 1 • for Phase1: • Current Status: Forsee lack of Step1 real-time tuning scheme - Current design codes too slow/inadequate & may need input beam scans@p0? - some basic PID online reconstr maybe poss √ - Geneva hodoscope equipment offered.- Next Steps: - Need to further consider conceptual schemes for this: - ie. Upstream detector scans but suitable code? Intratriplet detector scans + TPT fits? dp resolution from Geneva hodoscopes ok. Can we use empirical Response Matrix? Status of Beamline Design
