  3. …This meeting is mandatory so please Make arrangements now to be at this meeting! If you have any questions please see coach LeDuc in D 215 or coach Alcott in D 208.

  4. International Club - Note update! Mtg. is tomorrow, Tues., Jan., 14. (Yes, tomorrow!) @ 2:30 in the library. Come see about India& more!

  5. DECA Members:  Meeting is Wed., Jan. 16, after school in Ms. Thornburgh's Rm, C225.  If you cannot attend the mtg, see Ms. Thornburgh for permission slip for the Tues, Jan. 21 District Competition.  Due ASAP.

  6. Attention Guitar Club: Guitar Club mtg. is Thursday, January 16th.

  7. Remaining space for yearbook senior ads are available first come, first serve until the end of January. All information can be downloaded from Chaparral's main webpage…

  8. …remember to double check names & spelling. If no names' list is given for a club, then names will not be included with the picture. If you have questions or don't think you'll be able to submit a picture in time, email ashes@susd.org.

  9. There will be in informational track mtgon Thurs., Jan. 16 after school in the cafeteria. Anyone interested in participating in track & field is encouraged to attend!

  10. Attention Students:  Texas Tech will be at the College & Career Center Thurs., Jan. 16 @ 10:30 am. Sign up on Naviance or go College & Career Center for more information.

  11. Want to go to Alamos, Mexico on Spring Break?? YES? SI! …An Alamos, Mexico exchange…there are still a few spaces. New members welcome. International Club is still accepting applications in the library. See Mrs. Harris in library.

  12. Life Skills is recycling empty chip bags in the cafeteria & library all year.  The bin is emptied weekly. Just drop them in the bin, not in trash!

  13. Please help us collect used eye glasses for the underprivileged families in Guatemala.  If you or a family member have any used eye glasses please consider donating them to us.  There is a box in the band room so you can drop them off there, or in the guidance office.  Thanks for your help!
