  2. 1-Ability to hear and identify “When I listen to sounds, I know if they are the same or different”.

  3. 2-Ability to know letter-sound relationship “when I listen to a sound, I can write the letter.”

  4. 3-Ability to write words correctly “I can write the correct letters in order.”

  5. 4-Ability to read accurately “I can read words accurately and rapidly.”

  6. Blending We will start to learn that letter sounds can be combined to form simple words. We blend the last two letters to make a group ex: a+m = am Then we blend the sound of the first letter withthis group to make the word.
