  2. American Ninja Warrior is a sequel of a Japanese television game show named Sasuke, started in 2009. It is an American sports competition for entertainment and features hundreds of contestants who compete to finish a series of obstacle courses, where the level of difficulties keeps increasing. All these competitors aim at becoming the “American Ninja Warrior” by making it to the finals in Las Vegas Strip The format of the show is that the contestants go through difficult obstacles before they can make it to the finals and till date around 3500 contestants have participated in the game, where only two have won the competition, Isaac Caldiero, and Geoff Britten. The show was aired on G4 channel initially and now airs on NBC. The show has till date completed ten seasons.

EligibilityCriteria for Competing In American Ninja Warrior: •To participate in this game show, there are some requirements that the contestants must meet, to qualify for the regional qualifier. •The contestant who wants to compete needs to be a legal resident of the United States and in proper physical shape. •There is no age bar as such, but the participant has to be at least 19 years old to be able to participate in this

  4. competition. •For the application process, the willing participant has to fill a 20-page document questionnaire and make a video of them. The video length can be anywhere between 2 to 8 minutes. •Out of the thousands of applications that are received for American Ninja Warrior, the producers shortlist 100 participants to compete in the game show, and around 20 to 30 of them are put in the wait-list. This game show is considered to the most robust game show currently. The rounds of the play are conducted in different cities, and the difficulty levels keep increasing as the contestants move on. All the participants come to the show to test their physical capabilities and to become the winners, after Isaac Caldiero, who is the only winner till date and won in season 7.

  5. Apart from directly participating in the game show, interested candidates can also join through different contests that the game show comes up with, like the Obstacle challenge. The participant needs to submit their ideas of obstacles, and if selected, they get to fly all the way to the city where the obstacle is being used, to be able to see it live. Again, the show receives hundreds of entries but only a few a shortlisted. The latest season of American Ninja Warrior made rounds of Los Angeles, Miami, Dallas, Indianapolis, Minneapolis, and Philadelphia, and then the finals were conducted in Las Vegas as always. This American TV show is based on the Japanese show called “Sasuke,” which has been an all-time hit and is currently in its 35th season.
