  2. Keyboarding Activity “Storyboard” • Copy the sentence down into word. After typing the sentence, then keep adding sentences to the story (up to 3 sentences). • Open up the word processing module in All the Right Type (ART) and choose 1 sentence to start your story. • You have about 1-2 minutes to finishing typing your sentences. After I give the signal, you will move to the right (to the next computer terminal on your right hand side) and add the next few sentences to that new story. • Then REPEAT….

Advanced Technology is required to detect (like black • light or radiation detectors) General Public Knowledge (detectable with the visible eye) 3. Top Secret, For Government Eyes Only (for verification purposes) So don’t play with counterfeit money

  13. Activity 1: money Familiarization • Download assignment # 1 from my website • https://blogs.ubc.ca/mrvatougios/ • Use the internet to search for some examples of currency (money) to get some ideas for your own currency to create.

  14. Activity 2: Currency Development • Use the internet to get ideas and images. • Create by hand or with Microsoft Word On your own, use the computer to develop one bill and one coin. You must make: 1) A Canadian 1000 dollar bill 2) The new Canadian 5 dollar coin And then come up with a new name for your money (i.e. a Benjamin, Twoonie, Nickle, Penny, Bit, Rupee, Pound, Drachma)

  15. CLOSING TIME If you are finished either try to improve your $$$ (i.e. play with different graphics, features, counterfeit, design, layout) OR develop a new currency (I.E. different bill or coin value)
