  2. Congratulations to Damonte Holiday for being named the San Diego Union-Tribune Athlete of the Month! An All-State Sophomore selection last year, Holiday averaged 20.4 points in 16 games while leading Hoover to a record of 13-3 and two tournament titles. A Junior at Hoover this year, Holiday had a stretch of 10 consecutive games over those two tournaments with 20 points or more for the Cardinals.

  7. Did you know that if you owe 6 or less detention hours, it would only take you ONE Saturday School to get off of the LOP?!?  We will have Saturday School THIS Saturday, from 8-12. Don’t be late! Start the new year right and get off of the LOP!

  10. Congratulations to Miles Nolen-Webb for being named the San Diego Union-Tribune Athlete of the Week during the Winter Break! The Junior Point Guard averaged 16.8 points and 5.5 assists as Hoover won the Xtreme Glass Invitational title and Nolen-Webb earned all-tournament honors for the second straight time. The Cardinals’ victories included two wins over San Ysidro.
