  3. “The first thing we ought to have made was shelters down there by the beach. It wasn’t half cold down there in the night.” Piggy page 45 • What does this reveal about Piggy’s character? • Answer this question using the quotation above (or part of it) in a PEE paragraph.

  4. Chapter 3: Huts on the beach • Jack and Ralph start to fall out • Jack and his team go off hunting • Ralph is left building shelters with only Simon to help him • Jack’s hunting trip is unsuccessful • Simon goes off into the woods on his own
