  2. France is blessed with sunny weather, beautiful countryside, a nice selection of beaches, historic cities, ornate churches, picturesque chateaus, and some of the best food and wine in the world. The French take there meals seriously, although don’t let that deter you from having a relaxed, impromptu meal. Show up to one of the many restaurants in France with a little enthusiasm and you’ll be treated to a culinary tour de force. If culinary delights are you thing then a holiday in France is defiantly the way to go. From bustling markets with the freshest selection of goods, to intimate stores devoted to bread, cheese, and wine, the gastronomic perfection of food in France is spectacular.

Do you want to know how to cook? • INGREDIENTS: • 1-1/2 lbs. loin of pork, cut into 1-inch cubes • 2 Tablespoons olive oil • 1 Tablespoon red wine vinegar • 2-3 garlic cloves, pressed • 2 Tablespoons chopped, fresh sage • 1 teaspoon cumin • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes • salt and freshly ground black pepper

  7. PREPARATION: • If using wooden skewers, soak for at least 30 minutes before using.1. In a large bowl, mix together the oil, vinegar, garlic, sage, cumin, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper.2. Cut the pork into cubes and add to the bowl. Toss to completely coat the pork.3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and marinate for 15 minutes.4. Heat the broiler.5. Thread the pork on the skewers. Cover the tips of the skewers with aluminum foil so that the tips won't burn.6. Place under the broiler and cook for 10 minutes. Turn the skewers over and cook another 10 minutes.
