  1. ALL ABOUT JEE MAINS 2018 Joint Entrance Examination better known as (JEE) Mains is a top level Engineering Entrance Exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in India. Thousands of students appear in this exam every year. JEE Mains basically offers admission for the undergraduate engineering courses in various NITs, IIITs and other technical colleges. The admission form for next academic year is expected to be released by the end of November or first week of December 2017 and the exam will be held in April 2018. Age/Eligibility  Students who have 12th qualified class examination in 2016 or 2017 and those appearing for the exam can apply for JEE Mains 2018. As per the CBSE norms, a  candidate must be 25 years old that means he should be born on or after 1st October 1993. 5 years relaxation is given to ST/SC/Pwd candidates. Registration process Students first have to register themselves in the JEE Main official website under the ‘New Candidate Registration’ column. It must be noted that students with a valid Aadhar card will only be able to register for JEE Mains 2018. However, candidates from Assam, Meghalaya and Jammu Kashmir are exempted from this; they can apply without an Aadhar card. After registration the next step is:  Uploading scanned images Students have to upload scanned copies of their photograph, signature and thumb impression in the jpeg/jpg format. The size of photo, signature and thumb impression is mentioned on the right side of the page.  Payment of fee

  2. The board accepts payment through Credit as well as Debit cards. Candidates can also pay via SBI buddy, Paytm and E-challan. The E-challan form can be downloaded from the website. Exam pattern  There will be two papers: Paper 1 for engineering courses while paper 2 for Architecture courses Paper 1 will consist of 90 objective questions from Physics, Chemistry and  Mathematics. Paper 2 will consist of 82 questions from Maths, General Aptitude and Drawing test  Best of luck to all the students !!! BITSAT EXAM PREPARATION TIPS Birla Institute of Technology & Science Admission Test (BITSAT) is a university level examination conducted by the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani. It offers admission in engineering, pharmacy & science courses. Exam pattern The BITSAT question paper will consist of 150 multiple choice questions (MCQ) to be completed in three hours. That means students will have to complete each question in just 1.2 minutes. There negative marking for wrong answers hence students should attempt questions only if they are sure about it. The BITSAT syllabus is prepared as per the 10+2 NCERT pattern. It basically covers four important topics;     Physics Chemistry Mathematics English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning. 40 questions 40 questions 45 questions 15+10 questions Here’s How You Can Prepare For BITSAT Exam 1. Make a subject/section wise timetable and study according to that. 2. Know your strength and weakness – which section you need to study more. 3. Practise using previous years sample papers and help book available in the market. 4. You can also practise online.

  3. 5. Revise again and again. 6. Once you complete revision of old topics you must look for new topics. 7. Give more time for mathematics – solve 50 questions daily. 8.
