Introduction The Central Board Of secondary Education (CBSE) conducts JEE-Main, an all India national-level engineering entrance for admission into NIT’s, IIIT’s and other Centrally Funded technical Institutes (CFTI’s). In 2017, over 10.2 Lakh Students appeared for the Joint Entrance Examination-Main (JEE-M) at 1,781 centers for the admission in engineering colleges.   3. Exam Pattern of JEE Main 2018 JEE-MAIN is conducted in two parts- Paper 1 and Paper 2, where paper 1 is taken by students who want to opt for B. Tech/B.E. while paper 2 is for the students who want to pursue B. Arch/B. Planning.   4. JEE Main 2018 Exam Mode JEE-MAIN 2018 is conducted in both online (computer-based test) and offline (pen and paper based test) mode. Duration of the Exam: The duration of both the exams will be 3 hours each. There will be negative marking, deducting (-1 or 1/4th) marks for every incorrect answer. Each correct answer will carry 4 marks each. There will be no negative marking for not attempting the question. Choice of language for question paper: Candidates can choose to write the exam in Hindi or English.
