  2. Non-Volley Zone • Area close the net that the ball may enter (withthe exception of the serve) but players may not enter. • Players feet must remain behind the non-volley zone line if he/she is volleying( hitting the ballout of the air) the ball. You may not enter the zone after the hit

  3. Rules of Play • Serving: • Must serve underhand cross court and must clear the non-volley zone. • Altrenate right to left as you score • Double-bounce rule: pertains to serve only (ball mustbounce once on each side after the serve) • One server to start game then 2 servers the rest of the game

  4. Rules of Play Cont’ • Scoring: • Play to 11 win by 2 • Only score when your team is serving • One hit to return the ball ( partner may not help ball over) • Ball may be played off bounce or out of the air after the double bounce rule has been completed.

  5. Fault • Hitting the ball out of bounds • Not clearing the net • Stepping into the non-volley zone and volleying the ball • Volleying the ball before the completion of the double bounce rule • Hitting the ball more than once • Hitting the ball after more than one bounce
