  2. What is R.I.I.T.? • Research Institute for Information Technology • NOT a "pure" institute. • Our mission includes: • high-performance computing services; • network services for the university; • other IT-related campus-wide services; • advances studies for the future of these services.

  3. HPC services • Nearly 40 years of academic computing services • formerly known as "Computer Center" • One of the seven national supercomputer centers of Japan • which offer HPC services to researchers in universities and colleges all over Japan.  • A wide variety of research fields: • fluid dynamics, geophysics, structural mechanics, nuclear physics, molecular science, and materials engineering, etc.
