  2. Travel Theme Our committee is made up of a representative from each class; in total 12 boys and 1 teacher.

  3. Our 5th and 6th class boys recorded and displayed the results of our first travel survey.

  9. Our Marathon Runners completed 26miles over 4 months

  10. They were presented with certificates by Olympic qualifier, Catríona Jennings.

  11. The gardaítallked to us about road safety,stranger safety and their greener modes of policing our streets!

  12. Our 4th class made 3D models of our Clontarf area.

  13. Our 6th class made boats from recycled materials.

  14. Each class kept a visual record of their progress!

  17. Our 6th class made 2 themed collages-can you spot the recycled materials?

  18. A group from 6th class wrote a rap!!

  19. We had a competition in order to select our current green code . AS A RULE, WE SHOULD ALL WALK TO SCHOOL. IF YOU DON’T LIVE FAR DON’T USE THE CAR. GET ON YOUR BIKE OR TAKE A HIKE. ITS REALLY EASY. YOU’LL SOON BE FIT NOT FEELING WHEEZY!! By Gavin Murray

  21. We designed our own Green Machines!

  22. We continued work on previous ‘Green Themes’ ; making it through to The Young Scientist 2013 with our Composting Project

  23. We investigated the key conditions necessary for the production of compost

  24. We used maps of the area, thanks to our Travel Advisor, to establish cycling and walking times

  25. We keep the school community informed through our website, newsletters and notice board.
