  4. Summary 1.Morrie lost his battle! He’s now completely dependent on others assistance for almost everything except breathing and swallowing! However, Morrie revels in it. 2. The fear of aging! In this part of the story, Mitch and Morrie represents The different attitude toward aging. Mitch views aging as physcally decaying. Morrie , on the other hand, sees aging as a mental development!
