Approved 2 outputs: To ITU-R WP5D stating IEEE 802’s intent to submit technology proposals for IMT-Advanced To ITU-R WP5D providing further input on the modification of Recommendation ITU-R M.1457 Approved a procedure for submission of IMT-Advanced inputs to ITU-R WP5D Established time line for the submission process The EC approved that the RR-TAG will be the approval authority for those submission Results of November Plenary Meeting Michael Lynch, Nortel Networks

Active participation is encouraged! • 802.18 needs consistent participation from all wireless WGs • Our charter is to provide balanced representation of the interests of all of the wireless WGs before the FCC and other regulatory bodies • Other members of wireless WGs who can attend 802.18 as their primary group, or at least substantially, are also encouraged to participate • Remember … attendance in 802.18 meetings counts towards maintaining your voting rights in your “home WG” Michael Lynch, Nortel Networks
