The Marketing and Communications for the 2012/13 national competition cycle is currently being developed. 14 November 2012 WSUK National Competitions launched at The Skills Show. 15 November 2012 – 10 February 2013 Stakeholders invited to register interest. A phased retention campaign to be developed to feed interested stakeholders with competition preparation information. Pre-competition activity. 11 February 2013 Competition registrations open Competition registration campaign launched 22 March 2013 Competition registrations close The Skills Show is an initiative that is jointly supported by the Skills Funding Agency and the National Apprenticeship Service

Planned Activity • Squad UK Selection (Group B) for WS Leipzig W/C 17/09/2012 • Squad UK Announcement (Group B) for WS Leipzig 01/10/2012 • Profile Squad UK members in regional NTA/App award ceremonies • Additional radio day to coincide with the launch of WSUK 12/13 cycle • Press releases announcing Squad UK members to regional and trade media • Update Squad UK brochure – hosted online • EuroSkills Visitor Programme • EuroSkills 2012, Spa, Belgium • 24 Employers currently registered – some of the employers registered aren’t yet engaged with WorldSkills UK or Apprenticeships • Alumni members Keith Chapman MBE and Katie Kyrosis supporting The Skills Show is an initiative that is jointly supported by the Skills Funding Agency and the National Apprenticeship Service
