  1. When you’re giving a presentation and you let the your audience out on a break, it would be easy to have a countdown timer running on the screen to let them know how much longer before you’ll start again. To use this timer, you’ll have to do a couple of things: First, delete this slide. Second, find a picture you like, or even several and replace the existing one. When you’re ready to use the timer, open this PowerPoint and find the slide with the length of the break on it. For example, if you told them rascals to be back in ten minutes, find the 10:00 slide (slide # 7), click the Slide Show tab above, then on Set Up Show. Under Show Slides, have the show start on slide # 7. Click on OK, the go back to Slide Show and click on View Show. Your timer has now started.
