  3. SB 70 Cont. • Faculty Internships • Focus on faculty • Expose faculty to world of work • Counselors not included due to lack of interest • Money to 10 Regional Consortium • Regional Consortium Chair/designee and County Office of Education will select Mini Grant receipients

  4. SB 70 Intent Improve linkages and Career & Technical Education (CTE) education pathways between high schools and community colleges.

  5. SB 70 Intent Cont. • Expanding certificate programs (EWDP Programs) • Aligning existing CTE Programs between HS and CC. • Integration of Business & Emerging Industries into existing CTE & EWDP Programs. • Creating new articulated courses between HS and CC and 4 Yr Colleges

  6. SB 70 Cont. • Accelerating education/training programs utilizing less traditional methodology. • Exploring use of CTE models that integrate coursework and internships. • Improve quality of career exploration & outreach materials.
