  4. Suetonius Paulinus the imperial governor returned from campaigning in Wales to London after hearing of the massacre of the IXth Legion at St. Albans by Boudicca and her Iceni Army. He then rejoined his main body of troops, Cavalry and Legionaries (plus Auxillary Hamian Archer) comprising of the XIVth Legion who were part of the XXth Legion (total of 10,000 men). With this army he later gave battle and defeated Boudicca. (This battle being fought in the midlands of England.)
